Founder of Lectro

Russell Joiner

Carleton University - Civil Engineering - 3rd year

Russell is a third-year Civil Engineering student at Carleton University and the founder of Lectro. He’s worked at Hatch during the summers, but outside of engineering, he spends much of his time running, nordic skiing, and mountain biking. He’s completed many 100km+ ultramarathons, and Ironman's. He started Lectro because he knows what it’s like to stare at a solution and wonder how they got from one line to the next. His goal is to give students clear explanations that make those missing steps click by working backwards through the questions in a way textbooks never teach.
